About This Role

We’re looking for a strategic, high-impact VP – Sales & Business Development to drive LinqHaul’s growth across India and international markets. You’ll lead enterprise sales, shape go-to-market strategies, and be the face of LinqHaul to our most strategic clients—across sectors like manufacturing, cement, mining, manufacturing, infrastructure, ports, and public sector logistics. This role goes beyond traditional sales—it’s about building deep partnerships, converting vision into revenue, and co-creating solutions with some of the most influential players in the logistics ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Thinking & Growth Planning

  • Define and execute a comprehensive go-to-market and revenue strategy, aligned with LinqHaul’s business goals and market opportunities
  • Identify and evaluate new growth markets, strategic segments, and white space opportunities for expansion
  • Collaborate with leadership to prioritize high-impact initiatives, optimize commercial models, and guide long-term business planning

2. Full Ownership of Revenue Generation

  • Own and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets through a combination of enterprise deals, partnerships, and channel-led growth
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, maintaining strong visibility and control across all stages of the sales cycle
  • Lead negotiations and commercial discussions to ensure profitable, scalable, and sustainable contracts
  • Ensure high levels of forecast accuracy, deal conversion, and margin optimization

3. Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performance business development team across key cities and verticals
  • Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous learning, enabling your team to thrive in a high-growth environment
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure alignment in solutioning and client delivery
  • Institutionalize best-in-class sales processes, tools, and governance frameworks

4. Strategic Relationship Management

  • Cultivate trusted advisor relationships with CXOs, Plant Heads, BU leaders, and ecosystem stakeholders
  • Represent LinqHaul in industry forums, summits, and strategic discussions, enhancing brand visibility and thought leadership
  • Expand the company’s influence through strategic alliances, joint ventures, and publicprivate partnerships

5. Operational Excellence & Executive Reporting

  • Establish and oversee rigorous performance management and reporting systems for funnel health, sales productivity, and market performance
  • Use CRM, analytics, and dashboards to track business health, identify risks, and take corrective actions proactively
  • Provide monthly and quarterly business updates to founders and board stakeholders, along with strategic recommendations
  • Ensure compliance and control across contracting, pricing, and approval workflows
Key Requirements :
  • 10–15 years of enterprise B2B sales or GTM leadership experience
  • Proven track record in closing multi-million dollar enterprise deals with large private and public sector organizations
  • Strong understanding of digital transformation, enterprise SaaS, supply chain, or infrastructure tech domains
  • Strategic thinker with exceptional execution skills, capable of navigating ambiguity and building from scratch
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership abilities
  • Willingness to travel extensively and engage directly with high-value clients across India and SE Asia
  • Based in (or open to) Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, or Kolkata
